Meet the staff of BritTrack:

(pictured l to r: Marinda, Rob (he of the Hat), Alan, Caro, Christine, taken at the 7/19 Staff meeting)
Caro McCully
Director Brit-Track
Director's email
- Nickname:Caro is my nickname, but my pseudonym is Bob The Zombie
- BritTrack Staff since: 2001 according to the staff sheet. But I started helping in 2000
- Favourite Brit Shows: All of them. Mostly Young Ones, Are you Being Served, Torchwood, Doctor Who (new and classic), Robin Hood, Monty Python (despite that it got old after a while of hosting the panel at con for so long), Black Adder, East Enders, Primeval, French and Saunders, Red Dwarf, The Avengers, The Prisoner, etc....really it is all of them
- Favourite past Dragon*Con moment: Recently, I would have to say last years Feedback Panel, which turned into the "Rob & Rob And The Many Voices They Can Do" Ad Lib Show. Also, the first Torchwood Panel in 2008 (some of you know why, ask me about it.)
- Thing you're most looking forward to at this year's Con: Terry Gilliam and seeing everyone
- Most surprising fact about you: I have never read a single Harry Potter book and I still don't own The Young Ones DVD box set
Rob Levy
Second in Command
- Nickname:Robnoxious. I got it in high school. I got beaten mercilessly in school and had to adapt.
- BritTrack Staff since:1996
- Favourite Brit Shows: Doctor Who, Red Dwarf, Monty Python, Father Ted, Black Books, Torchwood, Young Ones, Black Adder
- Favourite past Dragon*Con moment: Moderating panels with Bobby Llewellyn and the Torchwood peeps. Besides that it was going to my first D*C but remembering being lost in amazement. Besides that it is the 2 weeks or so lead up to the con when I know I will see my friends again. The main thing I love is the people I know through the track, even Caro
- Thing you're most looking forward to at this year's Con: Getting the track to blow up more this year
- Most surprising fact about you: I write as column for needcoffee.com and host a radio show here in the STL
Rob "in the Hat" Bowen
Second in Command 2.0
- Nickname: Rob in the Hat
- BritTrack Staff since: 2002
- Favourite Brit Shows: Doctor Who, Torchwood, Top Gear, Monty Python, Primeval, Black Books, Black Adder, lots of others...
- Favourite past Dragon*Con moment: Verbal sparring with Rob Levy. Now that I'm awake, it's easier to keep up!
- Thing you're most looking forward to at this year's Con: Everythong! I've been looking forward to this since last year!
- Most surprising fact about you: When I was a kid, I was undersized and underweight. Go figure...
Alan Siler
Token Jack of All Trades
- Nickname: Ace (I'm an enornous KISS fan), BGA, Cynic
- BritTrack Staff since: 2007
- Favourite Brit Shows: Doctor Who, Torchwood, Being Human, Primeval, Last Detective, Robin Hood, Skins, Are You Being Served?, Kitchen Nightmares, AbFab (and just about anything Jennifer Saunders and Dawn French have ever done), Young Ones, Eastenders
- Favourite past Dragon*Con moment: It would have to be my band, Hyperdrive, playing at Dragon last yaer. That was an incredible rush! After that would be seeing my (at that time) favourite band, Spock's Beard, live for the first time. Plus the awesome thing that happened after that...
- Thing you're most looking forward to at this year's Con: Okay, I know I should say something British, or one of the BritTrack guests, but honestly its Mary McDonnell. I've been a big fan of her for over 20 years.
- Most surprising fact about you: My childhood hero was the Elephant Man.
Chistine Hoffman
Gothic Time Lady
- Nickname: Abigorbot and Christinachu
- BritTrack Staff since: 2009
- Favourite Brit Shows: The Mighty Boosh, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Being Human, Survivor, Red Dwarf
- Favourite past Dragon*Con moment: Asking a question to Robert Llewellyn and we both climbed on chairs
becasue I'm a shorty.
- Thing you're most looking forward to at this year's Con: Moderating "Brits on the Net" and meeting new people
- Most surprising fact about you: My online monkier "Abigor" is taken from one of Clive Barker's graphic
novel about cenobites. Lady Abigor was a general in hell's army. She
was considered one of the most beautiful cenobites and would come up
from hell to the surface so that she could be photographed. :D I've
later found out that it's also the name of a death metal band and the name
of a Gundam.
Marinda Rule
Writer for the Guide
- Nickname (if you have one): Don't have one, but I'm open to suggestions
- BritTrack staff member since: Spring 2009
- Favourite Brit Show(s): Doctor Who (have to just list one, or else I'd have to list 20)
- Favourite past Dragon*Con moment: Meeting Gareth David-Lloyd
- Thing you're most looking forward to at this year's Con: Working with the kick-ass, super cool BritTrack staff
- Most surprising fact about you: Besides being an Anglophile, I'm also a huge Parrot Head. I married my husband during the national Parrot Head convention in Key West at a wedding chapel about 5 feet from Jimmy Buffett's recording studio
Robert Ray
Minister of Silly Walks
- Nickname (if you have one):
- BritTrack staff member since:1997 - 1999 (as Director) and returned in 2009 (as staff)
- Favorite Brit Show(s): Doctor Who, Torchwood, Primeval, Red Dwarf, The Tripods, The Tomorrow People, The Prisoner, The Saint, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Space: 1999, Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes, Are You Being Served?, Keeping Up Appearances, The Vicar of Dibley, The Good Life (US: The Good Neighbors), The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin. I could go on, but that's a good start!
- Favorite past Dragon*Con moment:Being the director of the Doctor Who track to which I changed it to the BritTrack. All of a sudden, I forgot what I originally called it, but I think it was something like British Television or British Media Track.
- Thing you're most looking forward to at this year's Con:
To be a part of Atlanta fandom at Dragon*Con again.
- Most surprising fact about you: Even though I loved Doctor Who and a few British television shows, Doctor Who was winding down in the late 80s so after I was a member of the Terminus TARDIS I switched to Star Trek to become a member of the USS Republic. I was a member of Starfleet International for quite a number of years, and at one time I was helping to start a chapter in the North East Metro Atlanta area called the Shuttlecraft Perth. The USS Republic was the parent chapter to help start the Perth up, but it was not meant to be. I have since switched back to my love of Doctor Who and British television.
George Cockrell
Anthropomorphic Canine Hero
- Nickname (if you have one): Underdog (or Five, or Maniac, or Carthage... depends on who or what group you ask!)
- BritTrack staff member since: May 6, 2009 (I looked it up in my email!)
- Favorite Brit Show(s): Doctor Who, Blake's Seven, Red Dwarf
- Favorite past Dragon*Con moment: Any moment that involved the late, great Bob Asprin would work.
- Thing you're most looking forward to at this year's Con: Working at the Track's Fan Table! (No, not really...) I guess just seeing my friends from Atlanta, the track, and Artix Entertainment too.
- Most surprising fact about you: I used to run a huge online Pokemon Trading Card Game League for Pojo.com that had over 3,000 players... I met the love of my life because of it... A few years back, she got me back into going to cons after several years of not doing so (other than Archon anyhow)... Because she lived in the Atlanta area at that time, Dragon*Con was one of those con's she got me started attending... So, yes, pokemon are responsible for me being on staff!
